The cholesterol screening provides total cholesterol, HDL, your cholesterol ratio (a good indicator of heart health), as well as a random blood glucose. Both of these tests are non‑fasting and require only a simple finger‑stick blood sample, with results available in as little as five minutes.

Barnstable County Public Health Nurses will provide a brief (15-20) presentation prior to the screening.
