COME BROWSE FOR BOOK BARGAINS!
Original 1897 library space beautifully renovated

The Friends of the Eastham Library was established in 1973 to raise funds to supplement material, programs, and services provided through the regular library budget. The Friends work closely with library trustees and staff in order to assess current and future needs.

The Friends of the Eastham Library has a wonderful new space in which to offer its ongoing sales of books, DVDs and CDs. The original 1897 VIS library (Village Improvement Society) has been renovated with reclaimed southern yellow pine flooring, beadboard paneling and custom shelving. The Friends chose and purchased beautiful and comfortable “Living Room” furniture, which welcomes small groups as well as patrons looking to browse the shelves for book bargains.

We welcome GENTLY USED donations for our sale space, and especially value new (published within the last 5 years) fiction and nonfiction. Childrens’ books, soft cover ”trade” paperbacks and small paperbacks, DVDs, CDs and audiobooks are also accepted.

No textbooks or similar one-topic manuals, and please do not bring old or “over used” books. In other words, if it is not something you would consider buying, then it is probably not right for the Friends Book Sale.

Please call the library to schedule a time to drop off your donation:
