We are looking for creative clothing, hats, jewelry, leather, and accessories — those “one of a kind” wonderful wearables.

Unerased Screening

Join Eastham Public Library for a screening and talkback of Unerased: Asian Voices on Cape Cod, a short documentary that amplifies the experiences of members of our Asian community living or growing up on Cape Cod. Through personal stories and reflections, the film explores identity, community, and a path to healing. Free and open to all!

Art Class

This workshop is for anyone who likes to journal, scrapbook, collage… or simply wants to play and create using beautiful materials. With paint, pencil, graphite, adhesives, ink, papers and vintage ephemera, every participant will have the opportunity to create abundantly. This is an ongoing offering; you may start fresh every time you participate, or bring unfinished pieces to work on.
No experience required.
All materials are provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Please, no oil-based mediums or pastels.

Summer Kick Off

Tuesday June 23rd is our Dinomite Summer Reading Kick-off at the Eastham Public Library! Make sure to visit the children’s room to sign up for the summer reading program, get your reading tracker and special gift, and make a dinosaur craft! This summer is all about dinosaurs with our summer theme Unearth a Story!
Don’t miss Trevor the Juggler at 4pm! He’s helping us celebrate the beginning of Summer Reading with a juggling bonanza! This is a super fun performance for all ages! No registration is required.
ABOUT TREVOR THE JUGGLER
Cape Cod native Trevor Pearson has been juggling professionally for over 20 years, performing and instructing throughout New England, and beyond. Trevor performs for a variety of events… circus, stage, parties, corporate, festivals, weddings, memorials, pig roasts, pig scrambles, libraries, hootenannies, motorcycle rallies, and more! He’s taught after-school juggling classes for local schools, and more advanced workshops for universities, colleges, and festivals near and far. He teaches most frequently for Payomet Cirque by the Sea camps and classes in Truro. More info about Trevor.

Science Heroes

Unearth your love for science in this fun and interactive S.T.E.M. show for the whole family! Join us on Thursday July 16th at 4pm for Science Heroes: Digging It! You will help us conduct exciting experiments while we celebrate scientists who work with dirt! This program is especially great for kids from kindergarten to grade 5, yet all are welcome! Join us on Tuesday August 4th at 4pm for Puppets, Paul & Mary’s brand new puppet show Summer Bucket List – filled with songs, silliness, and summer fun! This show is perfect for ages 2-6 and is great fun for ages 7-100! No registration needed. Interactive, inventive and extremely funny, the whole family will enjoy this program!

Celebrate the end of our Summer Reading Program with us on Saturday August 15th from 10:30am – 12pm for ice cream + face painting by Nicole! Everyone will get an end of summer reading gift!

Join us for a bi-weekly discussion of the stories in this years Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy. When we meet, we will talk about 2 specific stories, looking at the genre, craft, narrative, and all the other fun stuff trapped within.
