Join us at the Eastham Library for “Hell: A Tour” with Gregory Williams! This humorous art history talk offers a cheery, brisk look at the early Middle Eastern and ancient Egyptian notions of the underworld, moves to the medieval hellmouth, then considers some of the artists who’ve furnished us our favorite renditions of Hell: Dante, van Eyck, Bosch, Signorelli, Milton, John Martin, Doré. . . All are welcome. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Eastham Library.
